“Grappa makers” borns in Vallespluga: trade rooted in Alpine culture when in winter people was put aside the traditional work in the fields and in the mountains, and “grappa” was distilled inside the households. “Grappa” is an important liquor tradition in the Alps exported later to the other regions of Italy.
“Grappa” is the typical products in the Italian territory but also the expression of the intangible cultural heritage of Alpine community.
